If you have ever used the Internet to search for something, you know that as soon as you start typing in a search engine, it automatically starts displaying a list of search results, making it easier for you to find the thing you are searching for.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could do this with patients in Dentrix Enterprise, so you can quickly find the patient you are searching for? In Dentrix Enterprise 11.0, you now can with a new feature called Instant Patient Search.
In the Search By tab of the Select Patient dialog box, begin by entering the first three letters of the last name in the Enter Last Name box. You must enter at least three letters for the Instant Patient Search feature to work.
The patient list automatically populates with patients matching the first three letters of the last name, which can be very helpful for organizations with a large patient base.
Make sure the Instant Patient Search feature is enabled in the Clinic Information – Optional Settings tab to take advantage of this great time-saving feature.
