For example, these states already require Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances (EPCS): AZ, CT, FL, IA, MA, ME, MN, NY, NJ, OH, OK, PA, RI, and TN, with many more to come in the future. Even pharmacies, such as Walmart, will now only accept e-prescriptions for controlled substances.
