You undoubtedly see a lot of patients throughout your workday. Some patients may have certain needs or circumstances that you should be aware of while providing them treatment.

Have you ever wondered what those symbols represent on appointments? These symbols can let you know if there’s important information about the patient or appointment that you need to be aware of during their visit. These symbols provide a visual cue if they have an alert or any specific medical needs.

Dentrix Enterprise also provides specific symbols in other parts of the software, such as the Ledger, that provide important information. Let’s review the helpful icons and symbols you may encounter in the Appointment Book and Ledger.
